Top 3 Things to Know About this job: Support the preparation of management accounts for an ambitious company Salary £35,000-£40,000 depending on experience Part-qualified role with exposure to cost management, variance analysis, and financial reporting The Role: Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and departmental reports Help establish and update standard costs for both internal services and products sold externally Analyse costs and assess rates used in costings and overhead assessments Perform variance analysis of actual versus standard costs, including gross margin contributions Prepare monthly inventory reports and assist with balance sheet reconciliations Support sales and purchasing activities, ensuring accurate intercompany reconciliations Assist with year-end audit preparations and liaise with external auditors Provide financial support across departments, contributing to process improvements Undertake ad-hoc duties as required The Person - What We're Looking For 2-3 years' experience in a similar finance role, preferably within a manufacturing environment Part-qualified CIMA, ACCA, or ACA (or equivalent) with a strong desire to complete studies Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Experience with SAGE 500 or similar financial software is desirable Strong understanding of costing processes and financial reporting Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritising competing deadlines Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with cross-functional teams The Reward - What's in it for You?
