Project Manager - Widebody Systems Programme Location: Filton (Hybrid - 60% onsite) Contract: Until 30/11/2026 (possible extension) Hours: 35 hours per week (4.5 days, flexible between 7am-7pm) Clearance: BPSS required Rate: £35.00 per hour (Umbrella) / £26.16 per hour (PAYE) IR35: Off-payroll working rules apply About the Role Our Client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join the Widebody Systems Programme Team, supporting projects across Landing Gear and Fuel Systems. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic aerospace environment, managing projects through the full lifecycle and contributing to the success of a global programme. You will be responsible for delivering work packages on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing suppliers, and ensuring effective communication across engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and customer services. Key Responsibilities Lead and support projects within the Fuel and Landing Gear portfolio. Deliver work packages in line with agreed schedules and budgets. Facilitate and coordinate meetings across internal and external stakeholders. Manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with programme objectives. Provide regular progress reports and escalate issues as needed. Contribute to budget planning and monthly financial outlook. Ensure adherence to Programme Management and Configuration Management processes. Occasional national and international travel may be required. Essential Skills & Experience Degree-level education or equivalent experience in project/programme management. Proven experience managing projects through the full lifecycle. Strong technical understanding of specification, design, build, and test processes. Experience in supplier management and budget control. Knowledge of configuration management tools (ICC CADB or ICC ACP desirable). Proficient in MS Project or similar planning tools. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to influence and lead multi-functional teams in a transnational environment.
