HC-One is seeking a Maintenance Operative with solid experience in maintenance, building, DIY, cleaning, and housekeeping. The ideal candidate will have technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, and ideally some IT skills. Communication skills should be considerate and kind.
The role involves ensuring our Residents live in a well-maintained environment through proactive inspections and maintenance. Responsibilities include conducting audits, maintaining records, and performing repairs such as replacing taps, fitting extractor fans, repairing windows, or putting up wallpaper, always with kindness.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. Candidates should recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect, and know how to report concerns. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training and undertake additional relevant training. The ability to seek advice and escalate concerns is essential.
