The Role:
We’re looking for a Financial Controller with2+ years of experience in a similar roleto take ownership of key finance operations, controls, and reporting across the business. You’ll report directly to theHead of Financeand play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate financial insight to support strategic decision-making in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Responsibilities:
* Delivering monthlymanagement and financial accountsacross group entities, including a China-based manufacturing facility
* Preparingmonthly board packsand weekly trading reports
* Leading allfinancial processes and internal controls, including balance sheet reconciliations
* Treasury and cash management—preserving cash and optimising payment terms
* Owning thebudgeting and financial modelling process(Excel-based)
* Consolidatingmonthly and annual accounts, including year-end close and liaison with auditors
* Partnering with external financial stakeholders:investors, banks, auditors
* Leading globaltax compliance(corporate tax, UK VAT, US/EU sales taxes)
* Providing cash flow analysis and forecasting to the Board
What you'll bring:
* CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualified
* 2+ years’ experienceas a Financial Controller (or similar)
* Strong business partnering and stakeholder management skills
* Excellent proficiency inExcelandfinancial modelling
* Familiarity withe-commerce,inventory-holding environments, and related operational dynamics
* Experience usingNetSuiteor other complex ERP/WMS platforms with e-commerce integration (preferred)
* A process-driven mindset with strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting abilities
* Able to work from Ruroc HQ 4 days per week
* Good sense of humour!
