Elevation IT are exclusively partnering with one of our key clients in Barnsley as the look to recruit a dynamic and detail-driven Business Systems Analyst (PM/BA) on a 12-month fixed term contract bases. The successful candidate will act as the critical link between internal marketing and sales teams and external development partners. This is a key role in aligning business objectives with technology solutions across their CRM system, e-commerce platform, product database, and website.
As the Business Systems Analyst PM/BA, you’ll be the lynchpin coordinating internal stakeholders and third-party technical teams to ensure successful delivery of projects and continuous improvement initiatives. You’ll bridge the gap between commercial goals and digital execution, translating business requirements into clear technical briefs, managing project timelines and ensuring stakeholder alignment every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities:
* Gather and document business requirements from sales and marketing teams.
* Translate requirements into actionable specifications for external dev teams.
* Manage projects and enhancements across CRM, e-commerce, web, and product data platforms.
* Coordinate and communicate progress, risks, and blockers across all stakeholders.
* Conduct UAT testing to validate new features, enhancements, and fixes.
* Own and resolve low-level system bugs and minor configuration issues.
* Maintain and improve workflows, data integrity, and user experience across systems.
* Monitor vendor performance and ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
We are keen to speak with immediately available candidates who have the following skills & experience:
* Proven experience in a hybrid PM/BA role, ideally in a B2C or retail environment.
* Experience working with CRM systems, e-commerce platforms, and websites.
* Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
* Strong analytical and documentation skills (e.g., user stories, process maps).
* Comfort working hands-on with systems, including testing and minor issue resolution.
* Able to work confidently with both non-technical teams and technical vendors.
* Organised, proactive and solution-oriented.
