Their growing portfolio includes both Ofsted and CQC-registered homes, with plans to open two more children's homes imminently. The Role: As Deputy Manager, you'll be focused on one specific 2-bed children's home, supporting children with learning disabilities (LD). You'll help lead the team, embed a positive culture, and maintain high standards of care and compliance. You'll work closely with the Registered Manager and may occasionally support sister homes within close proximity. Initially, you'll also play a key role in helping to set up and prepare new homes before they officially open. Key Responsibilities: Support the day-to-day running of a 2-bed children's home (LD) Provide strong leadership to a team of SSWs and RSWs Promote a positive, therapeutic environment Assist with compliance, audits, and Ofsted readiness Help onboard new staff and maintain morale Actively contribute to planning, risk assessments, and safeguarding Join the 1 in 6 on-call weekend rota Requirements: Minimum 2 years' experience in children's residential care (essential) Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) Level 5 in progress, completed, or willingness to enrol Experience supporting children with learning disabilities preferred Confident communicator and supportive leader Either hold a UK driving licence or currently learning Interested?
