We’re looking for an experienced Learning & Development Advisor to play a pivotal role in enhancing the learning experience across a large, multi-functional business.
This role will work across and lead on a variety of L&D related tasks and projects.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Career Pathways programme, from design through to implementation
* Develop interactive career frameworks outlining competencies, critical skills, progression routes and timelines
* Source and secure development related funding across various local authorities etc.
* Create tools to support individual gap analysis and manager capability
* Review and align training and skills matrices to support career development
* Review existing induction and onboarding approaches and design improved, engaging experiences
* Create clear execution plans to support operational managers
* Provide one-to-one coaching to people managers where required
* Collaborate with HR colleagues to develop interactive onboarding content in a variety of formats
* Provide accurate, high-quality progress updates and data to stakeholders
* Build strong relationships at all levels, including senior leadership and operational teams
* Work closely with subject matter experts to deliver agreed learning outputs
About You
* You must have experience working within an engineering or related environment
* Must hold a full UK driving licence
* Proven experience designing and delivering learning programmes
* Experience managing complex learning or people-related projects
* Strong working knowledge of Learning or Competency Management Systems
* Ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent communication, organisation and project management skills
* Strong IT capability and confidence using digital tools to enhance learning
* Coaching experience would be advantageous
* CIPD Level 3 in Learning & Development Practice (or equivalent teaching/learning qualification)
