The UK Operations Manager will be instrumental in driving THI's mission to support sustainable economic recovery and renewal in Greece by mobilizing the Greek Diaspora and Philhellene community. This role involves facilitating strategic planning, fundraising, event management, and fostering partnerships to enhance THI's impact in the UK.

Lead the expansion of THI’s network, identifying and engaging with potential partners, donors, and community leaders.
Build and maintain strong relationships with the Greek community, local businesses, and other charities.
Project/ Event Management :
Organize and execute high-profile events, such as galas, networking events, and educational seminars, to raise awareness and funds for THI’s causes.
Ensure these events reflect the ethos and standards of THI while maximizing outreach and financial return.
Recruit, manage, and mentor a small team or volunteers, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Manage UK projects and events budgets, ensuring financial accountability and compliance with THI’s financial policies.
Oversee fundraising campaigns tailored for the UK market, including grants, individual giving, corporate giving, and event-based fundraising.
Develop and maintain a UK based donor database.
Work closely with the New York office to adapt or develop programs specifically for the UK, ensuring they meet local needs while supporting Greece's recovery.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Non-Profit Management, International Relations, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Proven leadership in a non-profit or related organization.
Experience in strategic planning, fundraising, event management, and community engagement.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Deep understanding of Greek culture or a strong connection to the Greek community preferable.
Familiarity with the UK charity sector and regulatory environment.
Language: Fluency in English; proficiency in Greek is advantageous.
Travel: Expectation for travel within the UK and occasional trips to New York for strategic meetings.
