Here at the Mick George Group, we are currently recruiting an Asbestos Supervisor to join the Environmental team.

Working Hours:
Monday – Friday 7:30 – 5:00, Saturdays are as required.
Pay:
Dependent on experience.

Objective:
To support the business in achieving its aims and objectives through the delivery of asbestos management and removal projects.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Organise asbestos removal works to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, policies, and health and safety standards.
2. Ensure all site labour, plant, and materials are on site and used safely.
3. Understand and communicate Method Statements and Risk Assessments before work begins.
4. Maintain first aid and welfare facilities on site.
5. Manage site works in liaison with Contract Manager, staff, and Client to meet schedules and budgets.
6. Complete site checks and document accordingly.
7. Conduct monthly mask checks for all operatives.
8. Perform TNA analysis on operatives per project.
9. Attend 6-weekly supervisor meetings.
10. Participate in wider company objectives.
Skills & Competencies:
1. Qualified Licenced Asbestos Supervisor with proven experience.
2. Customer service-oriented.
3. Knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office and remote meeting tools.
5. Effective communicator and relationship builder.
6. High-standard written communication skills.
7. Honest, reliable, and able to prioritize tasks.
8. Ability to balance operational needs with best practices.
9. Full Driving Licence with towing ability.
