Mere Court Hotel, a charming 4-star country house hotel set in stunning grounds, is looking for a hands-on Hotel Operations Manager with a strong Food & Beverage background. This role is ideal for an energetic hospitality professional who thrives on the floor, leading by example and ensuring the highest standards of service across the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take ownership of Food & Beverage operations (restaurant, bar, banqueting, and weddings).
* Lead by example, being highly visible and hands-on during service.
* Support, train, and motivate the team to deliver consistently excellent guest experiences.
* Work alongside the Director to oversee day-to-day hotel operations.
* Ensure smooth delivery of weddings, events, and dining experiences.
* Maintain high standards of presentation, service, and compliance in all F&B outlets.
* Assist with rota planning, stock control, and cost management.
* Drive guest satisfaction through attention to detail and a proactive approach.
About You:
* Strong background in Food & Beverage management within hotels or high-volume hospitality.
* Previous experience in an operational leadership role.
* Hands-on approach — visible, supportive, and guest-focused.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
