Role Summary
As the Retail Media & Omnichannel Marketing Strategy Lead, you will develop and execute the strategic roadmap for retail media and omnichannel marketing across various customers and channels, collaborating closely with TCP and eCommerce teams. Your focus will include reporting, capabilities development, and cohesive online/in-store planning, aiming to embed omnichannel practices and enhance digital media capabilities.
Responsibilities
1. Strategy Implementation: Upskill teams to execute a comprehensive omnichannel retail media strategy, integrating campaigns with broader marketing and sales efforts.
2. Partnership Development: Build strong relationships with retail partners and media agencies to unlock capabilities and strategic opportunities, informing stakeholders and leadership.
3. Thought Leadership & Upskilling: Lead eCommerce and digital mindset development within the team, ensuring tactical integration into marketing strategies.
4. Testing & Learning: Develop a retail media test and learn agenda to refine best practices based on insights.
5. Measurement & Optimization: Oversee omnichannel measurement initiatives, analyze campaign data, and recommend strategic improvements.
6. Digital Agenda: Act as BU contact for performance marketing and analytics teams, ensuring effective prioritization and delivery for eCommerce.
7. People Management: Manage and coach the Omnichannel Strategy Manager.
8. Global Collaboration: Share best practices and local insights with global and sector teams.
9. Industry Trends: Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, sharing knowledge internally to promote education and upskilling.
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
* Experience in retail media, performance marketing, eCommerce, preferably within the CPG industry.
* Strong analytical skills with data analytics tools experience.
* Proven success in digital media strategy development and execution.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to build cross-functional relationships.
* Adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong project management skills with attention to detail.
