Our client is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Ocean Export Coordinator to join their growing team. * Coordinate and manage ocean export shipments from booking through to final delivery.
* Prepare and process all necessary export documentation.
* Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and overseas agents.
* Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and internal company policies.
* Track and monitor shipments, providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Resolve any issues or delays in transit, working closely with carriers and customers.
* Maintain accurate records within the transport management system (TMS).
* Provide quotations and assist the sales team with rate requests and service options.
* Handle customer inquiries professionally and in a timely manner.
Candidate Requirements:
* Previous experience in ocean export operations or international logistics.
* Strong understanding of export documentation and shipping procedures.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple shipments simultaneously.
* Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office.
