Job Description
* Job Title: Laboratory Technician
* Job Type: Permanent
* Salary: £23,868 pa
* Location: Cambridge
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday- Friday 9-5
* Industry: Health & Nutrition, Food
Role overview:
* Perform sample preparation and extraction following SGS-approved SOPs.
* Report any equipment or instrumentation failures to senior staff.
* Maintain organized, auditable laboratory records.
* Complete daily tasks efficiently to support operational output.
* Maintain a safe working environment, following Health & Safety protocols
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would be from a food process driven background such as Fast food restaurants or food manufacturing. No previous lab experience or degree is required!
* Experience in working with food and fast paced environments
* Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures accurately.
* Good organisational skills to maintain records and compliance.
* Proactive approach to learning and development.
