Primary School Teaching Assistant

* Job Type: Full-Time, Term Time Only
* Salary: £95 per day
Join a friendly and supportive mainstream primary school as a Teaching Assistant. This role is perfect for someone who is enthusiastic and dedicated to supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Support the class teacher in delivering lessons and classroom activities.
* Work with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning.
* Help maintain a calm and productive classroom environment.
* Support pupils’ social and emotional development.
* Assist with classroom preparation and organisation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* A positive, patient, and proactive attitude.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development.
Desirable (but not essential):
* Relevant qualification in childcare or education.
* Experience working with children (school, nursery, or similar setting).
* Knowledge of the primary curriculum.
