The Nursing Assistant plays a key role in supporting the nursing team by delivering compassionate and effective care to residents. Working under the supervision of Registered Nurses, you will help ensure the wellbeing, safety, and dignity of all residents by assisting with clinical and personal care tasks in accordance with care plans.

Key Responsibilities:
17. Assist with clinical tasks such as wound care, catheter care, observations (temperature and pulse), weighing and pressure area care.
18. Communicate effectively with healthcare professionals, residents, and families to ensure coordinated care.
19. Contribute to effective shift handovers and maintain clear documentation.
20. Ensure care records are maintained accurately and in line with legal and company standards.
21. Assist at mealtimes and prepare snacks and hot drinks.
22. Assist with personal care.
23. Promote dignity, privacy, and respect in all aspects of care delivery.
24. Help maintain a clean, safe, and homely environment for residents.
Qualifications and Experience:
25. NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) – Desirable
26. Willingness to undertake further training relevant to the role – Desirable
27. Experience in a care home or clinical environment – Desirable
