Working hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hrs per week
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in Birmingham. This role is essential in providing high-quality cardiac diagnostic services to our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of cardiac tests and ensuring accurate and timely diagnostics. This position requires a professional with strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities include:
* Conducting various cardiac diagnostic tests, including ECGs, fitting heart monitors, and analyzing and reporting on Holter Monitors.
* Ensuring accurate recording and interpretation of cardiac data.
* Maintaining patient records and collaborating with healthcare professionals.
* Preparing patients for procedures, explaining the process, and ensuring their comfort.
* Staying updated with advancements in cardiac physiology and adhering to protocols and standards.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Previous experience in cardiac physiology
* Proficiency in conducting ECGs
* Experience in fitting heart monitors
* Ability to analyze and report on Holter Monitors independently
* Strong technical skills in cardiac diagnostic procedures
* Excellent communication and patient care skills
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Attention to detail and high standards of patient care
