A leading regional law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its friendly and high performing Residential Property team in Bath. Following a year of exceptional growth, the team is expanding to support continued success. This is an excellent opportunity to manage a varied and interesting caseload within a supportive, collaborative environment.
The Role
* Managing your own residential property caseload and contributing to the wider team.
* Handling a broad range of residential property transactions.
* Delivering an end to end digital conveyancing service using modern technology.
* Providing commercially astute legal advice and excellent client service.
* Managing a variety of transactional matters efficiently and confidently.
* Building strong client relationships and delivering clear, practical guidance.
* Working closely with partners to scope, price, and deliver work effectively.
* Developing your own client relationships and professional profile.
* Leading and contributing to business development initiatives.
* Building a network of clients, contacts, and referrers.
* Identifying cross selling opportunities across the firm.
* Participating in team and sector pitches.
* Maintaining accurate time recording, WIP monitoring, and billing.
* Working towards individual and team KPIs.
Candidate Requirements
* 6+ years PQE (Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or CILEx).
* Strong experience in residential property work.
* Excellent client and project management skills.
* The ability to prioritise effectively in a busy environment.
* A proactive approach to business development.
* A collaborative, supportive working style.
The Team
The Bath Residential Property team comprises 20 members, with an even balance of fee earners and support staff. Many team members have been with the firm for years, reflecting the genuinely supportive and close knit culture. The team works alongside the Agricultural Property team and benefits from a dedicated completions team. Sub teams typically consist of a senior fee earner, paralegal, and assistant, though flexible structures are available depending on experience.
