Our client, a respected construction firm based in Essex, is on the hunt for a Maintenance Team Leader to take charge of their dynamic repairs team. What You’ll Be Doing:
* Lead the charge on reactive repairs, voids, disrepairs, and urgent maintenance issues.
* Allocate jobs to subcontractors and in-house teams, ensuring the right people are on the right tasks.
* Coordinate material orders and manage project timelines to keep everything running smoothly.
* Handle all project documentation, ensuring clients receive everything they need.
* Work closely with site supervisors, managing diaries, tracking progress, and hitting deadlines.
* Prepare quotes for specialist works and ensure high standards are met across all jobs.
Who We’re Looking For:
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar leadership or maintenance coordination role.
* Proven team management skills, confident leading and motivating others.
* Strong background in construction administration, ideally within social housing maintenance.
* Excellent organization skills and the ability to juggle multiple projects under pressure.
* Tech-savvy, with experience in construction software and solid documentation skills.
* A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a busy environment.
