Assistant Head Teacher – Curriculum & Learning – Meadow Bridge School
Salary: L5 - L7 dependent on experience

We are looking for an inspirational Assistant Head Teacher who will work closely with the Deputy Head Teacher to lead the development and implementation of an innovative and inclusive curriculum that meets the diverse needs of students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges. This role focuses on ensuring a creative, project‑based curriculum is securely implemented, enhances student engagement and prepares them for future opportunities.
Responsibilities
* Lead the development and implementation of an innovative and inclusive curriculum.
* Ensure the curriculum meets diverse needs of students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
* Use data to inform instructional practices and evaluate teaching effectiveness.
* Collaborate with staff to foster a positive working environment.
Qualifications & Skills
* Substantial experience and understanding of SEMH/ASC and creating supportive learning environments.
* Strong leadership skills to inspire and guide teaching staff, fostering collaboration.
* Proficient in assessing student progress and evaluating teaching effectiveness using data.
* Able to demonstrate ability to develop and support staff.
* Expertise in designing, implementing, and evaluating curricula tailored to students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges.
* Awareness of current trends in pedagogy, including differentiated instruction and inclusive teaching practices.
