Fixed term posts until 31 st March 2027 About us: Our team are based within the Programme Management Service in the Resources and Transformation Directorate, and we are responsible for managing and delivering a variety of exciting large-scale programmes throughout Bloxwich and Walsall including Bloxwich Launchpad. The Bloxwich Launchpad is the Town Deal’s flagship project, situated at the heart of the town centre, just off the High Street. This £3million investment is a clear statement of intent by Walsall Council, government and key stakeholders to local people and businesses. To deliver effective and first-class specialist services, support and training to local people looking to develop their skills or start to grow their business. The Bloxwich Launchpad Centre Coordinators (Digital Access & Incubation) roles are pivotal to the success of not only the daily delivery and coordination of the Digital access programmes and supporting emergent business start-ups and young business growth, but also the coordination and collaboration of our external delivery stakeholders’ programmes and needs, maintaining the standards, reputation and the continued success of the Bloxwich Launchpad Centre. About you: We are looking for experienced and motivated Centre Coordinators, who can develop and deliver Digital programmes and interventions to the community and local businesses, are experienced in the use of social media platforms and content creation, and knowledge of supporting business start-up ventures and young business growth for our Bloxwich and Walsall residents, businesses and communities. Your role will be varied, with significant time spent working with delivery partners, incubates, local community and businesses to provide programmes, knowledge and opportunities that will benefit users. You should be experienced in the coordination of provision and delivery that offers innovative digital interventions and/or a business incubation setting that will utilise your skill set and develop delivery and support in line with user’s needs, confident in leading on activities to promote the centre’s offer through events, networking and social media content creation, which will also include supporting the Centre Manager’s income generation strategy. The successful applicants will also be secondary keyholders for the centre and as such have responsibility for opening and locking the Centre as and when required.
