St. Anthony’s is an outstanding special school that caters for pupils aged 5-16 years with complex learning needs. The school is highly regarded in the community. Currently the school is one of the lead schools in ‘Novio’ which is part of the West Sussex SEN hub initiative supporting pupils with SEND in mainstream education. The school is committed to safeguarding the welfare and safety of its pupils and expects all staff to share in this commitment.

A FTE TEACHER for our PRIMARY DEPARTMENT (Ref:FT01)
(Temporary for 1 Year)
We want to recruit an enthusiastic, committed and highly effective teacher who has the ability and desire to teach pupils with SEND. The individual appointed would be mainly covering PPA across the Primary Department. All groups have a wide range ranges of needs including Autism and SLCN. Most pupils are working below their chronological age. We would welcome teachers from both Primary (EYFS/KS1/KS2) mainstream trained teachers as well as those with SEND experience. In your application, please highlight the experience you have working with children with ASC, SLCN and your areas of curriculum specialism.
