We're looking for an Environmental Manager to join our Construction division based in either our Crawley or Southampton office.
Location: Crawley or Southampton
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time
What will you be responsible for?
We are seeking an Environmental Manager to support our teams in delivering sustainability outcomes and shaping our sustainability strategy. The role involves expertise in transition to net zero carbon, circular economy, and social value, contributing to Kiers' purpose: ‘to sustainably deliver infrastructure which is vital to the UK'.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Managing the Environment team, including Senior Advisors, Advisors, and Coordinators.
* Delivering the environmental strategy in the region.
* Conducting incident investigations as per the incident response policy.
* Managing EMS documentation for your region and contributing to regional and company-wide EMS documentation.
* Reporting monthly data accurately to regional and central teams.
What are we looking for?
This role suits you if you have:
* A relevant degree or diploma in environmental, sustainability, or related fields (or working towards one).
* Membership of a professional body such as IEMA or equivalent.
* Skills in data trend analysis, with the ability to recommend solutions.
* An understanding of the carbon reduction agenda, including scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions.
* Experience with waste hierarchy and circular economy principles.
