Lusona Consultancy are working with a Public Sector organisation on the outskirts of Glasgow to recruit a Newly Qualified Accountant to join their growing team. Our client are a high profile organisation with considerable Ethical and purposeful impact on communities and social welfare. Our Client are looking to recruit an Accountant with strong technical and management reporting experience and desire to effectively partner with operational teams to make a genuine impact on business performance. The salary on this role is £47,132 per annum and includes a hybrid working week, generous pension and benefits scheme and holiday allowance.
The Financial Accountant will report to the Director of Finance on a permanent basis working over a 37 hour working week. Providing Financial Accounting and assurance experience, you will be resposonsible for Statutory accounting, year-end and liaising with auditors in addition to providing detailed management accounts across a range of service lines. The Financial Accountant will be involved in balance sheet reporting, Budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis, reporting to the management team. This is a visible role across the organisation and will offer insight across bids and tendering processes in addition to providing business partnering services to grow their capability and service offering.
The Financial accountant will be fully Qualified either coming from the profession or industry with a desire to add value. Experience in working under IFRS/SORP rules would be preferred with strong excel and analytical experience. Communication is a key factor in this role working with the leadership team and building rapport with financial and non-financial stakeholders.
