Salary: £13.68 - £16.12 Per Hour (Depending on Experience)

Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and helping them reach their full potential? GSL Education are seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to join schools in Blandford.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN TA), you will work alongside teachers and support staff to provide tailored assistance to students with a range of additional learning needs, including autism, ADHD, and speech and language difficulties.
Responsibilities:
* Support children with a range of SEN needs in and outside of the classroom.
* Work one-to-one or in small groups to reinforce learning and build confidence.
* Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans.
* Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction among students.
* Monitor and record student progress and provide constructive feedback.
Requirements:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN, ideally in a school setting.
* Knowledge of autism, ADHD, and other additional learning needs.
* A caring, patient, and supportive approach to working with students.
* Strong communication and teamwork skills.
* Relevant qualifications such as CACHE Level 2/3 or NVQ Level 2/3 in Childcare or Teaching Assistance are desirable.

* Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education.
