You will be working closely with the rest of the development team reporting to the Development Director. The business is currently in growth mode and adding to its planning team as it looks forward to as an opportunity to build on its success. You will be working on several very exciting and high-profile planning applications in the South West of England
You will be a town planner either as a graduate or with 1-2 years of experience in local authority, council, or planning consultancy in the South West of England.

The salary on offer is £25-35k complemented by a comprehensive package. Additionally, you will benefit from flexible hybrid working arrangements and the company will help with your accreditation towards MRTPI.
Responsibilities:
As an assistant planning manager, you will have a key role in supervising and orchestrating planning and development initiatives for the business. Your duties encompass:
1. Engaging with local authorities and stakeholders to ensure projects align with strategic development objectives.
2. Formulating and presenting planning applications, with ongoing communication with regulatory bodies.
3. Assessing and proposing resolutions for intricate planning and zoning issues.
4. Sustaining a commitment to ongoing research, keeping up to date with local, regional, and national planning regulations and industry best practices.
Key Requirements
5. Degree qualified and working towards MRTPI
6. Currently working for a planning consultancy or residential developer/ house developer experience in strategic land
7. Detailed experience in dealing with residential planning applications and appeals.
8. Bright, ambitious and determined to succeed.
