Some studios follow the brief. We challenge it.
BIG Partnership is an integrated communications agency where creative doesn't sit in a silo. Our designers work alongside PR, public affairs, digital and strategy specialists to produce work that looks exceptional and lands with real impact. We're looking for a Senior Creative Designer to join that studio in Manchester.
The role
You’ll take briefs from clients and project managers and turn them into work that excites. That means attending briefing meetings with curiosity, asking the right questions, and forming a genuine point of view on the creative direction before you’ve even opened InDesign. When the work is ready, you’ll present it, defend it and talk compellingly about the thinking behind it, to colleagues and clients alike.
Day-to-day, you’ll collaborate across the agency to develop creative platforms and campaign ideas, working closely with project managers to keep production on track, source supplier quotes and meet deadlines without corners being cut. You’ll also spot opportunities to add value beyond the brief, contributing to clients’ broader marketing thinking where you see the chance.
What you’ll bring
At least five years in a fast‑paced agency, with a portfolio that proves it. We want to see brand identity built from scratch, complex rebrands handled well, and print production work that shows you understand stocks, finishes and technical specs as thoroughly as you understand aesthetics.
You’ll also need genuine fluency in AI‑assisted creative workflows. Not a passing awareness. Real working knowledge of tools like Adobe Firefly, Adobe Express and Creatopy, and an understanding of how to apply them without losing creative integrity. Motion and animation skills are a bonus.
On the software side: expert‑level Adobe Creative Suite across Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and After Effects, plus a working command of PowerPoint and Word.
Who you are
You’re the kind of designer who holds themselves accountable without being told to. You adapt when the brief shifts, stay consistent when the pressure builds, and bring honesty to every creative conversation, even when that means pushing back. You collaborate naturally across a team that spans more than just designers, and you understand that the best ideas come from people who are genuinely open to each other’s thinking.
You care about excellence in the truest sense: not as a badge, but as a baseline. And you believe great design isn’t decoration. It’s what connects a brand to the people it’s trying to reach.
If you’re ready to challenge briefs, push creative boundaries, and help shape brands that make a difference, apply now.
