Business Support Admin Officer – Temporary (2–3 months)
Key Vacancy Information
* Temporary, 2–3 months, potential for long‑term role based on performance.
* Immediate start in October 2025.
* Full‑time hours, Monday to Friday, 37 hours a week.
* Hybrid role once trained: 2 days a week onsite.
* Central Sheffield location – close to public transport.
* Salary: £25,900 per annum (£15.09 per hour, inclusive of holiday pay).
Responsibilities
* Provide business and admin support to a high‑level regulatory and quality assurance function.
* Manage contract information, liaise with external regulatory and legal providers.
* Collate reports, data and other information for quality & assurance and performance teams.
* Extensive inbox and shared mailbox management.
* Follow workflows to provide information to external legal provider in line with SLA’s.
* Prepare information for reports and admin support for meetings.
* Draft responses to internal and external enquiries, update shared work files.
* Arrange meetings, take minutes and provide general business support.
* Support conferences and departmental meetings, which may involve travel booking, accommodation and acting as the first point of contact.
Qualifications & Skills
* Previous experience in a similar business admin role.
* Excellent MS Office skills, diary management, minute taking and note‑taking.
* Strong stakeholder liaison experience.
* Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
* Proactive and independent, adaptable to varying workloads.
* Knowledge of the public sector is an advantage.
