About the Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant (TA), you will play a crucial role in supporting students to achieve their full potential. Your responsibilities will include working one-on-one with pupils, supporting small groups, and helping teachers deliver engaging and inclusive lessons. SEN Teaching Assistant (TA), you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children with SEN while enhancing your professional experience in the education sector.
Responsibilities
* Provide individualised support to students with SEN, ensuring their academic and social development.
* Assist teachers in creating and delivering lessons tailored to diverse learning needs.
* Foster a safe and inclusive environment where all students can thrive.
* Support students' emotional well-being and help build their confidence.
* Monitor and report on students’ progress to contribute to their educational plans.
Requirements
* A passion for working with children with SEN and a genuine interest in their development.
* Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Patience, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
* A valid Enhanced DBS certificate registered on the update service or willingness to apply for one.
