Quality in the engineering sector has and always will be of the utmost significance. As a Senior Workshop Technician you’ll bring a level of expertise, which means you’ll fit in extremely well with a progressive and likeminded team.
Innovation is embedded in the culture of everything these guys do, collaborating on some of the most technical projects across a number sectors including; motorsport, aerospace, maritime and medical.
You’ll be carrying out assembly, strip and rebuild for vehicles, systems, and rigs both on event and at the company’s workshops relating to racing and performance vehicle activities. You’ll also be working closely with Operations and Engineering teams to support client and internal projects providing advice and support.
We’re ideally looking for either a qualification such as Level 3 IVQ (C&G) in Motor Vehicle Engineering, Level 3 Diploma in light Vehicle Maintenance and repair or a Level 3 Advanced Race Technician Apprenticeship. You should have plenty of experience working on automotive, commercial vehicle, and or race cars at a minimum of National level.
It would be extremely beneficial if you have an extended skill set including a basic fabrication, turning, carbon fibre repairs, milling and bench fitting.
The salary is on at £34,000 to £44,000 (DOE). You’ll also get 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, with 3 compulsory shut down days at Christmas.
