Role Overview:
Envisage is seeking a Human Factors Ergonomics Specialist to join our team, ensuring our future vehicles deliver an exceptional customer experience. You will lead the development of ergonomic requirements, collaborate across engineering and design teams, and use human factors science to resolve issues. This role is ideal for someone with a background in Human Factors, Ergonomics, Anthropometrics, Product Design, or Design Engineering.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead Human Factors requirements development to enhance customer experience, working with Engineering, Design, Programme, and Commercial teams.
• Drive Human Factors input into future vehicle development, using innovative methods to communicate ergonomic impacts.
• Conduct Human Factors assessments & testing to support issue resolution and meet project milestones.
• Analyze customer feedback on ergonomics to refine requirements and resolve design challenges.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to address ergonomic issues using data-driven insights.
Essential Skills & Experience:
• Experience: Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing technical and interpersonal skills.
• Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret technical data & customer feedback to guide decisions.
• Human Factors Knowledge: Understanding of human physiology, anatomy, or anthropometrics.
• Communication: Strong ability to explain complex ideas clearly.
Desirable Skills:
• CAD proficiency (e.g., CATIA, 3D Experience).
• Agile Methodology & JIRA familiarity.
• Whole vehicle engineering knowledge and cross-team collaboration experience.
• Resilience: Ability to deliver under pressure with a positive attitude.
