Bank Senior Health and Social Care Support Worker

We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join the West Caithness Health and Social Care Integrated Team based at William Smith House, Thurso. This bank post is part of a multidisciplinary team that works with patients in their own homes to provide holistic care. Your primary responsibility will be to provide support and assistance to service users to maximise and maintain their independence, ensuring the delivery of high‑quality care within the community.
Experience is not required, though it is advantageous. Full training will be provided and you will have the opportunity to complete an SVQ in Health & Social Care. A driving licence is essential for this post and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes, though a pool vehicle is available for rural areas.
Benefits include pay enhancements for unsociable hours and weekend work. Bank posts offer the following set shifts: 7:00–11:00, 7:00–14:00, 9:00–13:00, 11:00–14:00, 17:00–22:00, or as per service requirements.
This role does not meet eligibility criteria for a Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS), and NHS Highland is unable to provide candidates with a CoS.
