Part Time Accounts Assistant
£28, - £30, pro rata

Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm
My client, a successful business based in Witham is seeking an Accounts Assistant who is keen to broaden their existing skillset to join their team on a part time basis. This is an excellent opportunity to join a family run business who can offer you a long-term and rewarding career. You will be trained to use their industry bespoke systems in order to be able to support other arears of the business.
Duties to include, but will not be limited to:
1. Purchase, sales and nominal ledger duties
2. Bank reconciliations
3. Daily use of Sage & Excel
4. Answering any finance related queries
5. Liaising with suppliers regularly
6. VAT returns
7. Analysing key data
8. Dealing with any queries from customers regarding debt control
9. Reconciling supplier statements
10. Assisting various teams when required
The ideal candidate:
11. Previous accounts experience essential
12. AAT Level 2 qualification ideal
13. Excellent IT skills, specifically on Excel
14. Previous Sage experience ideal
15. A team player who is helpful and reliable
16. Some accountancy qualifications ideal
