Join Our Team as an Area Sales Manager!

Location: Midlands & South UK

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

Carrier Rental Systems, a proud part of the global Carrier Corporation, operates around the clock, 365 days a year. We provide a diverse range of market-leading rental products to various clients and industries. Now, we’re looking for a dynamic individual to join our Pumps & Power division !


About the Role

Are you ready to take charge of your career? We’re seeking a proactive professional to drive the growth of our Power & Pump division across the Midlands & South East. In this role, you’ll build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and developing exciting new business opportunities. Your mission? To increase sales, rentals, and profits by targeting both existing and new market verticals.


Your Responsibilities

* Coordinate, manage, and deliver the Sales plan for your territory.
* Introduce the Carrier range of products and services to the market, identifying strategic opportunities to grow market share.
* Collaborate with colleagues to deliver industry-leading standards to our customer base.
* Build strong, value-adding relationships with existing customers.
* Prospect for new customers and explore new opportunities with current clients.
* Engage in continuous personal development on product and application knowledge.
* Contribute to and utilize Carrier Rental System data systems, especially our CRM.
* Provide insightful reports on customer inquiries, hires, and sales in your designated area.
* Assist in the collection of payments due for services provided in your area.


What We’re Looking For

* Outside sales experience in generators or power generation equipment.
* Experience in selling and specifying pumps is a plus.
* Familiarity with sustainable energy solutions like solar or battery storage, or plant rental experience.
* Proficient in MS Office.
* Effective communication skills to engage with multiple stakeholders.
* A self-motivated attitude with a passion to win.
* A valid UK driving license.
