Job Title: Regional IT Manager
Salary: Competitive
Location: London (Canary Wharf) or Ringwood
Hours: 40 paid hours per week, typically between the hours of Monday to Friday 9am till 6pm Saturday 9am till 4pm, how out of hours cover may be required.
Overview:
The Regional IT Manager will oversee and coordinate IT operations, supplier relationships, compliance, and key projects across multiple locations including the UK, South Africa and US;
Based in the UK, This role requires strong technical expertise, vendor management skills, and leadership to ensure seamless IT service delivery and continuous improvement aligned with global IT strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
• Manage IT ticketing system ensuring prioritization and continuous progress on critical issues.
• Oversee communication contracts and supplier relationships in Southern regions, including BT, Avaya, Vocalcom, and Westpier.
• Manage key vendor contracts including Servium (hardware CAPEX), VMWare, and 6DG (London connectivity).
• Supervise SSL certificate management and perform monthly Purple Knight security scan submissions.
• Lead PCI DSS compliance oversight and Cyber Essentials certification.
• Ensure adherence to ISO27001 and ISO22301 standards with a focus on technical management.
• Coordinate the annual SIIL Disaster Recovery test.
• Lead the weekly IT meetings involving teams in RW, London, and Madagascar.
• Drive technical projects such as Windows 10 to 11 upgrade, Chrome OS Flex transition, WSUS upgrade, Rackspace hosting roadmap, and the tech recycle process.
• Oversee GCP-related projects and the submission of relevant technical documentation.
Global Project Coordination & Reporting:
• Manage monthly budget, including preparation of reports and participation in budget meetings.
• Participate in fortnightly Tech Committee meetings.
• Support and report on global projects such as BCG cost review, Java removal, CEC/CEP 2025, GCA Program (TCO ChromeOS), and Treenity app scoping.
• Collaborate daily with the CISO for ESM on SOC alert responses for the Region.
• Work with global IT presales teams, attending weekly meetings.
• Coordinate provisioning of users and equipment for US and India offices in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
New Initiatives:
• Lead or support the implementation of CCAS / Channel Mgt solutions.
• Manage centralized procurement / Oversee Lenovo deliveries across India, South Africa, UK, and US.
Skill required
• Proven experience in IT management and vendor relationship management across multiple regions.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity standards such as PCI DSS, Cyber Essentials, ISO27001, and ISO22301.
• Experience managing complex projects including OS migrations, cloud platform integrations (GCP), and disaster recovery testing.
• Excellent communication skills and experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Strong budgeting and reporting capabilities to the Group CIO.
• Ability to work with global teams and coordinate multi-regional IT activities.

Operational Days and Hours
With given notice, Konecta reserves the right to change your working hours.
Please note that whilst you will be supporting the IT team, whose opening hours are 9am – 6pm Monday to Friday and 9am – 4pm Saturday, your Konecta contracted hours will be 8am - 8pm Monday to Sunday. You may be required to cover evenings and weekends when required by the business.
Systems & Training
Full training will be given by Konecta and will include supporting on-going training requirements for the duration of the project. You will also receive a full company induction that will include many areas such as Data Protection Act and all other systems and interpersonal skills training.
