Job summary
This role is fixed term for 12 months to cover Maternity leave. This is a newly created role to support the Multiple Sclerosis (MS) team. The post holder will play a vital part in supporting the efficient running of the MS service with particular focus on the launch and coordination of our new Fampridine service. The role will also provide administrative coordination and support to the MS multidisciplinary team (MDT) ensuring the smooth delivery of high quality care to our patients.
Main duties
* Provide administrative support to the MS team using advanced IT skills and software programmes
* Manage patient flow through the MS service tracking appointments and pathways
* Schedule blood monitoring appointments for patients receiving Disease modifying treatments (DMT)
* Cover for the DMT coordinator in times of annual leave
* The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this role; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

* Knowledge of the full range of administrative and organisational policies and procedures, acquired through training and relevant experience
