Job Description
A client within the Public Sector based in Warwickshire is currently recruiting for a Planner and Tenant Liaison Officer to join their Housing Maintenance Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority housing or customer service environment.
The Role
The key purpose of the role is to plan, organise and appoint work for in-house trades operatives, ensuring a high standard of customer care for tenants and efficient delivery of housing maintenance services.
* Assessing resources and planning repairs or maintenance works within required timescales.
* Liaising closely with tenants to arrange access, explain works, and respond to queries.
* Coordinating and communicating with the in-house workforce and external contractors.
* Monitoring outstanding jobs, addressing delays, and providing feedback to improve service efficiency.
* Managing and maintaining accurate records using software systems for repairs, compliance, and reporting.
* Supporting compliance requirements including gas, electrical, fire safety, asbestos and damp and mould management.
The Candidate
To be considered for this role you will require:
* Experience in a front-line customer service environment, ideally within housing or maintenance.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy workload.
* Strong IT skills including Microsoft Office and database systems.
The below skills would be beneficial for the role:
* Knowledge of housing repairs, building maintenance or property compliance.
* Experience in planning or scheduling work for trades or contractors.
* Ability to analyse data, identify problems and propose solutions.
The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £18 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35 (approx. £15 per hour PAYE).
