Assistant Site Manager

A quality-driven, award-winning residential developer is seeking an Assistant Site Manager to join their team on a new housing development.
Working closely with the Site Manager, you will play a key role in driving the successful delivery of this residential scheme. You will assist in overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring the project is delivered on time, to the highest standards of quality, and in full compliance with health and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support the Site Manager in the delivery of the housing development
2. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and directly employed labour
3. Maintain exceptional standards of quality across all stages of construction
4. Ensure strict adherence to health & safety procedures and legislation
5. Liaise regularly with NHBC and Building Control
6. Assist with site organisation, logistics, and programme management
Requirements:
7. Proven experience in housebuilding in a similar role
8. Strong knowledge of both traditional (brick & block) build methods
9. Up-to-date understanding of health & safety regulations
10. Relevant certifications: SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid at Work
11. Strong organisational and communication skills
12. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality homes
13. Previous experience on award-winning sites and good knowledge of NHBC standards is highly desirable
