Overview This position will focus primarily on supporting the consultancy’s clients by ensuring external design submissions meet the required technical, regulatory, and project-specific standards. The Role Review and verify third-party mechanical designs, drawings, and specifications to ensure compliance with client requirements and relevant standards Identify design risks, clashes, or deficiencies, and raise clear, constructive feedback for resolution Support project managers and client stakeholders by translating technical issues into practical advice and guidance Liaise with subcontractors to clarify design intent, coordinate updates, and ensure timely resolution of queries Contribute to technical design review meetings and maintain accurate review documentation Support the consultancy in representing client interests during design phases, ensuring accountability and quality throughout the supply chain Candidate Profile The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical design combined with a sharp eye for technical detail and quality control. Prior experience in design checking, consultancy, or contractor oversight within continuous manufacturing products will be highly advantageous.
