About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Officer within our Multi Agency Safeguarding Hub team. This role provides administrative support to frontline teams based at 3 Knowsley Place, Bury. You will be part of a welcoming and supportive team, providing Business Support to Social Workers, Health, and Education professionals to ensure the safeguarding and best outcomes for children and young people. The working days are Wednesday afternoon, and all day Thursday and Friday, from 8:45 to 17:00.
Children’s Services prioritise the interests of children, working with families to offer quality advice, support, and guidance.
We are seeking an organized, self-motivated, and professional individual capable of providing high-level administrative support. You will work in a rewarding, fast-paced environment, handling online and phone referrals into Children’s Services from the public and various professionals including Police, Health, and Education. The role requires working to tight deadlines with a high degree of accuracy.
* Exceptional organizational skills are essential to manage conflicting deadlines without direct supervision, re-prioritizing tasks or delegating as needed.
* Problem-solving skills and initiative are required to provide practical solutions.
* Experience with computer packages and confidence in using bespoke software within different services are necessary.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills are required to deliver polite, courteous, and efficient service to colleagues, partners, and service users.
