Key Duties
* Manage commercial aspects of civil engineering projects from inception to completion.
* Preparation and submission of interim valuations and final accounts.
* Cost control and forecasting across multiple sites.
* Identify and manage variations and changes to scope.
* Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and account management.
* Prepare and present monthly cost/value reports to senior management.
* Maintain compliance with contractual and financial procedures.
* Work collaboratively with operational and client teams
* Attend site visits ensuring products are arriving on time and being ordered in advance
What we are looking for
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor within civil engineering, ideally with exposure to water and/or highways projects
* Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage costs, valuations, and subcontractor accounts effectively
* Experience working on infrastructure projects, including knowledge of NEC contracts (or similar)
* Ability to carry out regular site visits, liaising with site teams and stakeholders to ensure commercial control is maintained
* Full UK driving licence is essential due to site travel requirements
* Relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Commercial Management, or similar (preferred but not essential depending xxuwjjq on experience)
