The Portsmouth Marriott Hotel is looking for a Restaurant & Bar Manager to join our fantastic restaurant team! We are seeking an enthusiastic manager who will deliver a first-class restaurant experience at our world‑leading hospitality company. Located near the Spinnaker Tower, the hotel offers a range of amenities including the Cast Iron Bar & Grill, our signature restaurant and fitness centre. Responsibilities
* Assist the Operations Manager and deputize during their absence
* Oversee the smooth and efficient running of day‑to‑day operations in the Restaurant and Bars outlets
* Manage supervisors and associates to achieve departmental targets
* Serve food and beverages to guests, making recommendations if needed
* Share your menu knowledge to assist guests with questions and special requests
* Record transactions in the MICROS system correctly and timely
* Check in with guests to assure satisfaction with each course and beverage
* Clean tables, complete closing duties and re‑stock tableware and other supplies
