Role Description
Serving approximately 370,000 residents from Chorley, South Ribble, and Preston, you will work alongside a friendly team providing emergency treatment and ongoing care of the highest standard. Your responsibilities include supporting seriously ill patients and their families, performing tasks such as blood sampling and patient observations, and ensuring patient safety and reassurance through your calm and methodical approach.

Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Monitoring and caring for critically ill or unstable patients
* Supporting emergency and planned admissions and post-surgery patients, with effective communication
* Preparing and checking equipment for procedures
* Adhering to NMC professional standards
* Performing clinical tasks such as blood sampling, cannulation, and patient observations
* Writing care plans, assessments, and making referrals
* Managing patient admissions and discharges
Minimum Requirements
* Registered Nurse qualification
* At least 2 years of post-graduate experience
* Recent NHS experience within the last 3 years
* Ability to pass an enhanced background check
