We currently have a fantastic opportunity available for a Customer Service Specialist to join our team based in Bournemouth. About the role:
This role involves working as part of the CARE team in a fast-paced customer service environment. You will be the voice of our company, engaging with customers about their account balances and resolving queries efficiently.
What you’ll be doing:
* Taking ownership of customer issues and guiding them to quick resolutions.
* Offering bespoke services and identifying vulnerabilities or financial hardship, including suggesting affordability tariffs.
* Communicating empathetically, negotiating payments, and maintaining accurate records using our CRM system.
* Developing an understanding of customer circumstances to facilitate appropriate payment plans or highlight consequences of non-payment.
* Proactively identifying future customer needs and sharing insights with the team.
* Contributing to process improvements and referring fraudulent accounts to management.
* Achieving individual performance targets and team objectives.
What we are looking for:
* Experience or knowledge of debt collection practices.
* Confidence in communication and decision-making via telephone and IT systems.
* Friendly, socially confident, and proactive in engaging with others.
* Ability to manage calls to resolution and take ownership of tasks.
