Overview
We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and experienced Head Veterinary Receptionist to join our team at Lynton Vets from October 2025.

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the reception team; greet and interact with clients in a welcoming and professional manner; ensure every visit is a positive experience.
* Manage appointment bookings, handle queries, take payments, and assist with dispensing medication and general administrative tasks.
* Handle account queries, chase outstanding debt, manage payments, and complete end-of-day banking and monitor petty cash records.
* Support the team with other administrative tasks as required by the Practice Manager or Clinical Director.
About the practice
We are a long-established, small animal veterinary group. We relocated to a brand new, purpose-built practice in Woking, with ongoing refurbishments across other practices. The practice has state-of-the-art equipment including dental radiography, VVS ultrasound scanners, multiparameter anesthesia equipment, patient warming equipment, and a grooming salon.
We have a loyal client base and a strong local reputation. Easy transport links to London and Surrey.
Team and culture
We have a 6 Veterinary Surgeons supported by 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 4 Student Veterinary Nurses, 4 ANAs and experienced Receptionists. We foster a family-like culture with a supportive ethos; SOS chocolate station and regular cake across the group.
Your shift pattern
This is a full-time role (40 hours per week) covering a variety of shifts including Saturdays on a shared rota.

Salary: Up to £30,000 DOE
