Overview

Job Coach (5 posts) 8766 | Permanent contract | £28,598 to £31,022 per annum (Scale F) | 37 hours per week | County Hall, Norwich

Do you believe everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive in work? Norfolk County Council is delivering the Connect to Work initiative in partnership with the Department for Work and Pensions. The programme supports individuals, particularly those with disabilities, health conditions, learning disabilities, ex-offenders, autistic people and care leavers into or to maintain paid employment. We’re expanding our Local Supported Employment Team and are looking for passionate, driven individuals to join us in delivering high-quality, person-centred employment support under the Supported Employment Quality Framework (SEQF).


Responsibilities

* Work directly with participants to support their journey into employment.
* Use a strengths-based approach and the 5-stage model to provide tailored coaching, advocacy, and in-work support to help individuals thrive in the workplace.
* Contribute to shaping team working practices and collaborate closely with colleagues to develop a strong and positive service offer.
* Operate as part of a countywide team with Norwich as a base for team meetings, adopting a hybrid service model and using our hybrid-friendly office spaces to meet regularly.
