Overview
A well established and growing law firm based in Warwick is looking to appoint an experienced Commercial Solicitor to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded solicitor to work with a broad client base, advising on a wide range of commercial matters while playing a key role in the continued growth of the firm.
The role would suit a solicitor who is confident managing their own caseload, enjoys building strong client relationships and is comfortable advising at a senior level.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a varied commercial caseload from instruction to completion
* Drafting, reviewing and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts
* Advising clients on commercial risk, compliance and regulatory matters
* Supporting clients with business growth, restructuring and strategic projects
* Working closely with colleagues across other practice areas when required
* Developing and maintaining long term client relationships
* Contributing to business development and the profile of the firm
Areas of Work May Include
* Commercial contracts and agreements
* Terms and conditions, supply and distribution agreements
* Agency and franchise agreements
* Data protection and intellectual property matters
* Shareholder and partnership agreements
* Corporate support and general commercial advice
About You
* Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
* Strong experience in commercial law, ideally gained within a recognised commercial practice
* Able to manage a caseload independently with minimal supervision
* Commercially aware with a practical, solution focused approach
* Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication skills
* Confident building relationships with clients and colleagues
