Spruse is looking for Volunteers to join our lovely existing team. Roles available are Customer service/Administration or help with our social media uploading.
Detailed description
This role will involve booking in collections and deliveries, answering the telephone, responding to messages through social media, and serving customers. Full training will be provided, so no experience is required.
This is a good platform to learn new skills for future employment, and our team is very friendly to work with.
Spruse is a non-profit charity based in Stevenage, operating for over 30 years. We pass on unwanted good quality furniture and electrical white goods to residents within Stevenage and surrounding areas. Our mission is to allow people to furnish their homes with good quality furniture or white goods at affordable prices in the hope of reducing debt and minimizing unnecessary waste going to landfill.
We offer discounts for people on lower incomes, and it is free to register with us.
Spruse collaborates with many organizations such as Stevenage Community Trust, NHCVS, The Haven, and social services, supplying them with essential quality furniture and white goods on a referral basis.
We also offer a free collection service to Stevenage and the immediate surrounding areas, with delivery to Stevenage areas and a small charge to Hitchin, Letchworth, and Baldock.
