Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. This role will be within our Water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
As our Project Manager, you'll oversee a programme of works on our Southern Water Framework across the South Coast area.
You'll be responsible for overseeing multiple projects from inception to completion, ensuring safe, on time, efficient, and right-first-time delivery.
You will lead a team of professionals and be the point of contact for the Client and stakeholders, working with delivery teams and coordinating project stakeholders such as highways, local authorities, Southern Water, and Capital Delivery Waste Water operations.
You'll liaise with clients, designers, and delivery teams throughout the target cost setting, design, and delivery phases of a project.
You will have the opportunity to mentor and lead project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
You will develop an environment where staff share ideas and best practices, problem solve, identify risks, and develop mitigation strategies, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, timely, and promoting best practices in quality management.
What they’ll bring – Key skills, qualifications and experience
* Degree/HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Construction
* Management training such as Institute of Leadership and Management Level 5 or equivalent
* NEBOSH National Certificate
* Experience working in the water industry and rising main projects
* Proven ability to deliver against operational targets
* SMSTS
* APM
* Water hygiene
* Full driving license
