Job Description
Tradition is the interdealer broking arm of Compagnie Financière Tradition and one of the world's largest interdealer brokers in over-the-counter financial and commodity-related products. CFT is represented in over 28 countries, employing over 2,500 people.

Tradition is seeking to appoint an STP Operations Analyst based in London.
Main responsibilities:
1. Operational support for order management, trade booking, affirmation, confirmation, reporting, clearing, and settlement processes.
2. Operational support for Regulatory Reporting (Transaction Reporting, Pre & Post Trade Transparency, Commodity Position Reporting, SFTR, SEF, etc.).
3. Support of all Rates, Fixed Income, and Post Trade Systems supporting the flow across venues like Trad-X EU MTF, TRAD-X UK MTF, UK OTF (TCDS), and TSAF OTF.
4. Monitoring application performance for key Post Trade systems used by Rates, Credit, FX, and Bond trading desks.
5. Conduct testing with internal and external clients.
6. Provide support desk coverage during assigned hours.
7. Address and resolve 1st and 2nd line Post Trade System issues.
8. Collaborate with project teams and 3rd line support as needed.
9. Investigate long-term issues and communicate findings.
10. Manage supplier and client relations.
11. Ensure controls related to policies, processes, and procedures are maintained.
12. Perform any other duties reasonably assigned.
Key skills and experience:
1. Strong FIX protocol knowledge.
2. Understanding of Financial Products, including Rates, FX, and Fixed Income.
3. Familiarity with Front Office Systems and workflows for these products.
4. Experience with Post Trade systems such as MarkitWire, RTNS, VCON, ICELink, IDT, and Traiana.
5. Excellent SQL skills.
6. Knowledge of Windows networking and TCP/IP.
7. Understanding of WAN/LAN technologies.
8. Experience with electronic trading platforms and OTC financial markets technology.
9. Previous experience supporting trading floors directly.
