From Swimming lessons, to walking football and everything in-between we are driven to provide fun and welcoming sessions to support the whole community to be active, both within our leisure centres and in the local community.
As a Customer Service Assistant you will welcome the community into the facility, whether that be a seasoned gym goer or somebody making their first steps into the facility, along with serving hot and cold drinks and food from our café. We strive to provide a warm friendly welcome to all.
Joining part of friendly and supportive team you will be you will build your knowledge of what’s on offer at Arun Leisure Centre so that you can share this with our users. No two days will be the same as you interact with the wide range of centre users, you will also have the opportunity to deliver our catering service from the combined reception café area.
The good thing is that we provide you with full training and great potential for career progression, we have over 100 facilities across England and Wales – many of our staff have built successful careers with us because they love the having a positive impact in their local communities and enjoy the variety that the role provides.

Hours: 12 hours per week, Monday - Sunday (rota basis)
Requirements
* To serve the leisure centre’s customers using exceptional customer service skills
* Promote and sell the different products that Freedom Leisure offer.
* To serve customers at all points of sale including refreshments in the Freedom Café area of the site and main entrance reception.
* To greet, help and serve customers in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, providing an excellent level of customer service at all times.
* Previous experience of serving customers in a face to face environment and assisting with telephone enquiries.
* Flexible and adaptable and able to deal in a busy, high pressured environment
